Never judge a book by its cover, or a banh mi by a poor photo! Banh mi Delights Avondale in Auckland is my last stop on my Banh mi adventure of NZ, and with changing plans comes a quick google search and a random Banh mi lunch stop. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get but the recent reviews seems pretty good. And for good reason, packed with punch this was. Lemongrass beef with extra chilli and my tastebuds were singing. Glad my plans changed. 👏

Very delicious and cheap bahn mis. Perfect amount of sauce and has a nice kick too. Highly recommend 👌🏼

Really tasty Banh Mi however the egg was missing. The area is a little bit sketchy. Parking available. Pretty quick service.

The beef noodle was better than most with a pinch of spiciness but a bit pricey at NZD 17. The rice spring rolls were a bit chewy but portion were bigger than most @ NZD 10. The stall is a not in a shop lot but operated as a food truck with only 1 small table with 2 chairs for dine in.
